- A 3-piece slightly contoured body copies the child’s body providing an excellent support for her back and, at the same time, creates a comfortable and physiologically correct `froggy` position.
- The sides of the panel are padded to provide great comfort for your child’s legs.
- Contoured shoulder straps are generously padded and narrow down towards the ends so they don’t cause underarm rub of the wearer. They are 10 cm wide, dual adjusting provides a variable and comfortable way of regulation of both the room for the child and the length of the straps. The top part of the straps, where the straps meet the body, is padded as well so the children who like to ride with their arms out don’t get the underarm rub.
- Tall headrest is lightly padded and can be flipped away if necessary.
- Roomy hood can be neatly tucked inside a pouch in the main body when you don’t need it. It has a special system that allows you to easily pull the hood out of the pocket even in case your little one falls asleep on your back.
- The hood has sewn-in rubber bands on the sides. That provides high variability and comfort for the child (especially appreciated when your little one is already using his jacket/overall hood). The straps of the hood are long enough to grab them comfortably when the hood is out and ready to use. To make it really easy for you, a plastic buckle is used for attaching the hood to the shoulder straps.
- The pouch used for storing the hood inside the body can also be used for storing soft object like diapers, napkins etc.
- A 3-piece structured waist belt is meant to be worn on your hips, non-apron style. Its oval shape provides more comfort for the you as the wearer and avoids the danger of your pants being pushed down:-)) The waist belt is 12 cm wide.
- Adjustable chest belt doesn’t slide by itself or fall when you don’t need it. There is a D-ring attached to each of the shoulder straps that can be used to attach a pacifier, toys, a sling view etc. (I’m sure you’ll think of other uses:-))
- Elastic loops at the end of the straps are used to store the extra length. Plus, at the waist belt webbing there are extra wraparound elastic bands so the webbing doesn’t hang down.
- Elastic strap with a snap button holds the carrier rolled up when not in use.
- The carrier is made of high quality 100% cotton. The main fabric used is 7-10 oz canvas, brushed canvas or twill for the shoulder straps, waist belt and body of the carrier. Designer fabric is used for the print side. For security reasons, the designer fabric is always double-lined with canvas. In case of a panel made of a wrap, the lining is made of thinner canvas.
- The webbing is polypropylene or polyester.
- The buckles are heavy duty plastic (imported from the US).
- To assure the best quality and durability we use Gütermann threads for stitching.
